ประตูท้ายไฟฟ้า (Power Tailgate) คือระบบที่ใช้มอเตอร์ไฟฟ้าช่วยเปิดและปิดฝาท้ายของรถยนต์ แทนที่ผู้ใช้ต้องออกแรงยกและกดปิดด้วยมือ ผู้ขับสามารถสั่งเปิด-ปิดได้จากรีโมทเดิม สวิตช์ที่ฝาท้าย หรือสวิตช์ที่แผงหน้าคนขับ
ระบบหนึ่งชุดประกอบด้วยชิ้นส่วนหลัก 5 อย่าง คือ (1) สตรัทไฟฟ้าคู่ที่ฝังมอเตอร์ไว้ในตัว (2) กล่องควบคุมหรือ ECU ที่สั่งการมอเตอร์ (3) ล็อคดูดอัตโนมัติที่ช่วยดูดฝาท้ายให้ปิดสนิท (4) สวิตช์สั่งงาน และ (5) ชุดสายไฟที่เชื่อมกับระบบเดิมของรถ
จุดที่ต่างจากประตูท้ายเดิมชัดเจนที่สุดคือ 'แรงที่ผู้ใช้ต้องออก' ระบบเดิมต้องออกแรงยกตลอดช่วง และต้องกดปิดให้สุดเพื่อให้ล็อคทำงาน ส่วนระบบไฟฟ้าจะยกและปิดให้เอง ผู้ใช้เพียงสั่งงาน
เรื่องความปลอดภัย ระบบที่มีคุณภาพควรมีระบบกันหนีบสองทิศทาง คือถ้าตรวจพบสิ่งกีดขวางระหว่างเปิดหรือปิด ระบบจะหยุดและถอยกลับทันที พร้อมล็อคดูดที่จะค่อย ๆ ดูดฝาให้ปิดสนิทโดยไม่กระแทก
คำว่า Plug & Play ที่เราใช้หมายถึงระบบใช้ขั้วต่อเดิมของรถทั้งหมด ไม่ต้องตัดสายไฟเส้นใด และไม่ต้องเจาะตัวถัง จุดยึดใช้จุดเดิมที่มีมาจากโรงงาน จึงลดความเสี่ยงเรื่องระบบไฟและลดร่องรอยการดัดแปลง
สิ่งแรกที่ควรทำก่อนตัดสินใจติดตั้ง คือเช็คว่ารถของคุณมีชุดที่รองรับหรือไม่ เพราะรถต่างรุ่นแม้ชื่อเดียวกันแต่ต่างช่วงปี อาจใช้สตรัทหรือกล่องควบคุมคนละชุดกัน

What is a power tailgate and how does it work?
A power tailgate uses electric motors to open and close the tailgate, instead of the driver lifting and pushing it manually. It can be operated from the original remote, a tailgate switch, or a front switch.
A complete kit has five main parts: a pair of motorised struts, a control unit (ECU), a soft-close latch, switches, and a wiring harness that connects to the vehicle's existing connectors.
The clearest difference from a manual tailgate is effort: a manual tailgate must be lifted through its full travel and pushed shut until the latch catches. A powered system does both for the user.
For safety, a quality system should offer two-direction anti-pinch: if an obstacle is detected while opening or closing, the system stops and reverses. The soft-close latch then draws the gate shut gently.
Plug & Play means the kit uses the vehicle's original connectors, with no wire cutting and no body drilling. Mounting points are the factory ones.
Before ordering, always confirm fitment: the same model name can use different struts or control units across model years.
